STEP™ Parenting Classes

STEP™ (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting)

This class is a 7-week parenting curriculum offering support and ideas for positive parenting. This is a research based curriculum that has helped over 4 million parents!

    What to expect:
  1. Understanding yourself and your child.
  2. Understanding beliefs and feelings.
  3. Encouraging your child and yourself.
  4. Developing the courage to be imperfect.
  5. Listening and talking to your child.
  6. Helping children cooperate.
  7. Discipline that makes sense.
  8. Choosing your approach.

  1. The curriculum is supplemented as needed with material that is specific to individual needs and situations. Families effected by incarceration, addictions, mental health and violence will receive specific material to address the family's specific challenges. The group facilitator is skilled at identifying specific areas of concern and is trained and able to address and refer for additional services if needed.

  1. Each participant will receive a workbook to use during the group and to keep for reference. All graduates will receive one complimentary 60 minute follow up session to be used within 6 months of completing the course.

  1. Right Turn Supervision Services LLC will coordinate with all referralsas requested by the participant.

  1. Serving: Self referrals, Department of Human Services, Child support recovery, and court orders.

  • Cash or money order only. (includes book and certificate)
  • Come 15 minutes early to scheduled class.
  • Childcare will NOT be provided, so please do not bring minor children.
*The registered participant will be responsible for providing the certificate of completion to the ordering court and or attorney.

All sessions will begin on time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Because Sessions begin on time, a credit will not be given for late arrivals.
